Open art prize attracts diverse works
The decision to make the 2010 Outback Art Prize an open event has proved an overwhelming success, with almost 200 entires pouring in for the $15,000 prize which will be awarded at the Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery tonight.

Libraries as art galleries
A new traveling art exhibit, dubbed EASEL, which stands for Experience Art in Southeastern Libraries, is in the works. Starting in October the yearlong exhibit, being put together by SELCO and SEMVA, will travel to 15 libraries throughout Southeastern Minnesota.
